Thepresidentpost.id - Indonesia participated in the 2023 Global Sourcing Expo Australia Exhibition which was held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center (MCEC), Australia, on 21–23 November 2023.

The Global Sourcing Expo Australia 2023 exhibition is the largest product sourcing exhibition in Australia which is held twice a year, namely July 2023 in Sydney and November 2023 in Melbourne. A total of ten Indonesian companies participated in the Indonesian Pavilion at the exhibition. On the 2nd day of the exhibition, participants managed to record potential transactions of USD 4 million.

Indonesian products on display at the 2023 Global Sourcing Expo Australia Exhibition include apparel, footwear, leather and leather products, as well as home decoration products.

The Global Sourcing Expo Australia 2023 exhibition is a promotional facilitation provided by the Directorate General of National Export Development in collaboration with the Indonesian Trade Attache Canberra and the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Sydney.

On the first day of the exhibition, the Indonesian booth was visited by many buyers from various countries, including India, Pakistan, Australia and several European countries. The Ministry of Trade is optimistic that through Indonesia's participation in the Global Sourcing Expo, Indonesian exports of apparel, footwear, leather products and home decoration to Australia will increase, both in terms of volume and value.
